Causes of Skin dehydration and solutions for busy office ladies
We are stuck in the office typically 5 days a week and as long as 8 hours per day. As much as the air-conditioner helps to improve air quality, decrease humidity and provide a cool and comfortable environment for us to work in, it is also damaging our skin at the same time. Air-Conditioning causes the skin and eyes to lose water resulting in skin dehydration. – To combat skin dehydration we suggest the following tips:
Take small breaks from your air-con. The skin will feel more refresh in a more humid environment
Moisturize with a unscented moisturizer. Replace the lost hydration in your skin- Drink plenty of water ( >60% of our skin is made up of water)
Keep the air-con at a temperature that is comfortable, the colder the air-con, the more drying it is to your skin.
